Music of the week - music from china

Music of the week - music from china

Each week I choose a 'music of the week'. This is played as the children come into assembly and there is an accompanying powerpoint presentation on IWB which gives basic information, pictures and questions for the children to look at as they wait for the others to enter. Hope it is helpful!! let me know if you have any other ideas for music of the week please too! and how this is presented in your school! P.S. This is only the powerpoint presentation - not the music as well!.

Sing A rainbow Art Book

Sing A rainbow Art Book

This is a book based on the song Sing a Rainbow. The idea is combining Music with Books and Art. Either each child will have their own book or they will work in groups (a book each group). They will draw the faces, paint their hands and stamp them over the right colour and colour the rainbow following the song. It is useful for Art, Literacy and also for English as a Modern Foreign Language. AIMS: Collaboration, behaviour, feelings, vocabulary…
