German WORTSCHATZ Spiel /game: guess a word quickly, DAF, Deutsch lernen

German WORTSCHATZ Spiel /game: guess a word quickly, DAF, Deutsch lernen

❤️ liche Grüße, Cindy Khne ❤️ About me ❤️ Hi there 👋🏼! I´m Cindy from Leipzig, Germany. I have been a German and English teacher for more than 12 years now. And I love coffee breaks ☕️. Coffee is just great. Over the years I have realized how much my students benefit most from lessons where THEY are the leaders, where THEY are encouraged to be proactive and learn from each other. Handing over the reins to my students doesn’t make me weaker as a teacher. It makes them responsible for their own learning and is highly motivating. I don’t want my students to be sailors. I want them to be CAPTAINS! (And I want coffee!) My teaching resources are all designed to enable students to USE the language. This is why you will always find the communicative approach in my resources - even simple crosswords come with ideas for speaking activities. All of my resources have been tested in class and will be updated regularly. Please rate my resources to help me build a reputation among millions of resources. Thanks for working with me ☺️ Cindy ❤️ Please see my other resources, too: [https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/CindyKuehne]

Familie introduction

Familie introduction

Workbook to introduce the topic of family. Includes examples of how to introduce family members, say their name, age and describe their character. Includes explanation of possessive adjectives and conjugations of the verbs haben, sein and heissen. Includes practice for each of the verbs and using possessive adjectives. I usually use it in conjunction with a PowerPoint that shows the grammar and allows students to practice as a class. Would also be great for a lesson cover.

German – Conversation Cards – Questions and Answers.

German – Conversation Cards – Questions and Answers.

This is a set of 28 question cards and 28 answer cards to get your pupils speaking to each other in German and great to use as starters for target language practice. They include questions about name age, likes, favourites, preferences, family, daily routine, and many more. These fun colourful cards can be printed and cut into individual question and answer cards to be used in several different ways, depending on the ability and confidence of your students: Both question and answer cards can be given to students in pairs to practice a conversation. (Easier level) Question cards only given to pairs to practice a conversation. Students will need to form their own answers. (Middle level) Students are only given the answer cards and need to use these to form the relevant questions. (Harder level) It is essential that pupils can ask questions (not just answer them). Regular practice of these question and answer sessions will allow them to get used to asking questions and be able to formulate further questions independently.
