I have created these revision mats on AQA's key topics to aid my students with their writing revision. Each mat is divided into the following sections: Definite delights, the past tense, the future tense, the conditional tense, attention-grabbing adjectives and showstoppers. Key languages is modelled for students to feedforward into their writing exam. German translation role play, meeting someone KS3

Two role plays aimed at beginners, designed for two people. Each person gets instructions in English on what to say in German. The other person has the answer on their half of the sheets so students should be able to support each other without teacher intervention. Each role play includes questions for both students. The vocabulary from both role-plays is based on the first Module of Stimmt 1. Role play one covers name, age, and where you live. Role play two covers characters, interests and things they have.

There are 36 different student cards; each card gives a first name, a nationality, age, birthday, number of brothers and the number of sisters. Each student gets a card with an identity. Students mingle and interview 5 classmates and record their answers.

Stimmt 1 Mod 1 Meine Welt ist wunderbar- personality traits lesson

A whole lesson (instructions for each activity on notes under slide) practising how to describe your personality using the vocab from Stimmt 1 mod 1 p14 and 15. Pupils use tally charts, class research and a mixture of reading and listening exercises to fully understand how to describe themselves. Sheets for tally charts at end of PPT but can be done in book.
