OCR Alevel Tudor Rebellions -The Tyrone Rebellion Irish History the 9 Years War Rebellion and Disorder under the Tudors 1485-1603 This is a depth study and requires lots of detail for the exam as it will be used for an interpretation on one of the key themes -This lesson examines how threatening the Tyrone Rebellion Students use the timeline and all their notes so far to explain threat posed to the government and make a threat “blob” diagram Then work through the slides- includes retrieval practice of content from my previous lessons on causes and nature of the rebellion. This lesson is for the Component 1 teaching of Democracy. It examines the development of suffrage in the UK and milestones which led to this and examines more recent debates about the growth of suffrage e.g. Votes for 16 and the voting rights for prisoners. If you can get hold of a copy of Blackadder III Dish and Dishonesty it is well worth it- so funny for the state of Democracy in the 19th Century but it is not essential for this lesson. Obviously I cannot share this for copyright reasons. All other resources are included. Part of my whole topic on DEmocracy priced £8 you may wish to buy the whole topic instead :)
