TEN Speaking and Writing Assessments created in line with the new G.C.S.E for students studying Studio 3 Vert (ALL MODULES), though this is transferable as it covers holidays, free time, jobs, world issues Speaking Assessments - As this is KS3, we have only included Photo card and General Conversation (leaving the role-play for next year). The teacher should choose from the list of conversation questions according to ability of the student. The maximum score is 45 and teachers should align this to their own department's grade boundaries. Writing Assessments - Including Photo description, two extended writing questions and translation task. The maximum score is 50 and teachers should align this to their own department's grade boundaries.

Used to see French colours in context; translated together as a group; then the class split into small groups, each group learning 2 lines to perform on their own; the whole class produced the last line all together. It was Year 7 in October and in July whenever I said "alors" they'd all go "Pourquoi est-ce que tu m'appelles?".
