Entre les Murs - la réaction au film

Entre les Murs - la réaction au film

For sixth formers studying the film Entre les Murs. Short handout summarising the public and critical reaction to the film after its release. The information came from many sources which I came across while teaching the film - interviews, magazine and newspaper articles etc. Shared for free in the original spirit of TES and in return for the many free resources which I have downloaded over the years.

Entre les Murs - les objectifs de Laurent Cantet

Entre les Murs - les objectifs de Laurent Cantet

For sixth form students studying the film Entre les Murs. I picked out four of the principal aims of Laurent Cantet in making the film, from his interview in the "extras" on the DVD. I used these questions to provoke a class discussion. We then went on to look at his aims in more detail (see also my resource called "Entre les murs - les objectifs du metteur en scène"). Shared for free in the original spirit of TES and in return for the many free resources which I have downloaded over the years.

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain - Booklet + guide to writing a film review

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain - Booklet + guide to writing a film review

Here's a guided worksheet to complete as you watch the movie. It focuses mainly on developing vocabulary and enhancing comprehension but can be supported by class discussion. The second worksheet is a follow-on from the booklet and gives students the opportunity to read a film review for 'Amélie', look at how to write a film review, and plan their own review. The level of difficulty is A2/B1, accessible for students who have been learning French for 2-3 years at least. It is a great opportunity for students to gain an insight into French culture. Watching the movie and completing the booklet would take up to 5-6 hours. The film review worksheet would take about an hour to complete and the review can be set as an assessed task or a homework
