Algebraic Notation Worksheet

Thanks for this feedback. If you've not seen the video the key focus of it is to choose two easy numbers for the first column that you expect all children to be able to do (in order to expose any gaps in their understanding of algebraic notation) and then to pick hard numbers for the second column to keep everyone busy and challenged while every child has a chance to complete the first column and to practice/expose gaps in harder aspects of primary maths (and beyond) such as calculating with fractions, decimals, larger numbers and decimal numbers. <br />
