The Books of the Bible

The Books of the Bible

A simple matching exercise. Pupils match the name of Biblical books in their sections to a description of the books, to an appropriate picture. The text and pictures are in a grid that need to be cut up so pupils arrange and stick them in order in their books.

QTS Standards

QTS Standards

Use this resource when compiling your folder of evidence of the QTS standards. Print off and put in a file in polyfolders and then add evidence. You can write on the evidence you've used for each standard or obviously finally type them onto the pages for neatness. This method has been praised by TTA assessors!

Does suffering have a value?

Does suffering have a value?

This is a useful worksheet where pupils can mark their responses to a series of statements. They're ususally quite happy to complete activities like this, I find. You can then follow it up by asking them to write about what they agreed with/disagreed with most.

Abortion - the development of a foetus

Abortion - the development of a foetus

This is a 'game' to be used when introducing abortion. The week chart needs to be enlarged to A3 ( and ideally laminated) and placed in a long line on the floor/tables. The stages of development need to be cut up and given out to students. They then have to guess when each thing happens. You can then add the UK abortion limit and religious views as needed.
