If you haven't already launched a sociology debate club, there look no further! I have created a simple format to help introduce a sociology debate workshop as an extra-curricular activity. This was used during registration as part of PSHRE, however you can also promote the workshop at lunchtime or after school as an extra-curricular activity. Feel free to change the name of the club, and i have left spaces blank within the power point to add your own dates etc. The debate topics are aimed at Year 9 - Year 11, but the format is simple and can be tailored for older classes. ACTIVITY: In the Powerpoint the teacher debates the topic of - POSTING VIDEOS ONLINE There is guidance on different arguments for and against the right to freedom of speech.
