I wanted a way to display all geometrical properties of 2D shapes in my class by using the correct symbols - after looking on the web and in books for ages, I had to give in and make my own! They look great on the wall, on a red paper background, and I have noticed students gravitating towards them more and more. I hope this is useful for others too.

#### 2D Shapes Display

Canine themed 2D shapes resource. Each dog has the shape name - the properties are on bones! It comes with title lettering. The images could be used on the as a matching game.

#### Interactive 2D shape display

I printed these off, laminated them and attached the sticky velcro to the front of the shapes and the back of the names. Each time I take off the names and put them in a pile for the next child to put in the right place. Has been a useful assessment tool and activity for the Maths Working Wall.

#### Numeracy SATs Test Revision PowerPoints - Questions And Answers In Every Presentation.

I like to ask the class a question, give the class a certain amount of time to solve the question and then show me the answer on their mini whiteboards. I have taken the KS2 SATs numeracy question papers for the 2015 test and combined the question and answer booklets into a single presentation. This is a great way of teaching as there is an instant feedback and explanation as to how to solve each problem. This helps to challenge and consolidate the classes learning.

This teaching resource could be used for whole class teaching and checking, or at home as a one to one resource with a tutor. These teaching resources make maths less stressful and so the students are more motivated to succeed!

I have created resources for levels 3-5 and also separate resources for Level 6 students. All the students should attempt all the papers to both consolidate and strengthen their basic learning and also extend their skills to a higher level.
#### 18 Different Maths and Grammar SATS Tests (Hundreds of differentiated practice questions!)

I want to make KS2 SATs revision fun. I want it to be something students and teachers really enjoy. I have taken each of the SATs tests and combined the original test papers and the original marking schemes into PowerPoints where you ask a question and immediately see the the answer on the next slide. This teaching packs covers KS2 Maths and KS2 SATs SPAG tests (Spag is English grammar, punctuation and spelling Papers)

The idea is that you can now ask a question and all your students show you the answer on their mini-whiteboards and then you discuss the answers together and see what would have got one or two points. As the students can work in pairs or small groups on the questions, they are less stressed and enjoy the whole revision process. In addition, it gives them a chance to learn about other student's strategies.

This pack could be used in the classroom for whole class teaching, for small groups or at home as a great teaching resource.
