I use this with my Year 7s to gain insights into their Attitude to Reading. This enables me to effectively resource the library and target the not so keen readers, as well as adapt seating plans (separating those who may feel negatively towards reading - an idea from Karen Benoy). I also map this against their reading scores so that we can see who's able but less keen; keen but less able and visa versa, (an idea from Adam Lancaster) ensuring that everyone gets resources that are accessible and enjoyable.
