Grammar for Effective Writing 2: adjective phrases and comparatives/superlatives

This file is primarily for Key Stage 2 classes but may proof useful in Key Stage 3. It defines what an adjective phrase is and then examines how adjective phrases can be used as a powerful tool for writing with some examples provided.

It then defines what a comparative adjective and superlative adjective is and provides examples of how they are used by good writers. The lesson starters challenge the students to interrogate grammar for effective writing.
