I have adapted these record sheets from many other sources and have them more useful than most. I highlight the focus for the session and this is directly linked to AF above - in teacher speak not jargon. I hope you find them useful.

From my 'Dexter and Dood - superhero' range, this question key ring will make reading sessions much more focussed on inference and deduction.
Children can use these when they are reading independently, but their best use is within guded reading to ensure that children are thinking about the meaning behind what they are reading.
Cut out and laminate and make into a key ring.
