Please note that the source used in this download is an original work that was published in 2011 in The Ground’s Ear. “Heightened Awareness” is a poem that addresses interpersonal conflict, respects and celebration of diversity. It also works very well with two other NEWSOURCE poems: “I have considered your request” and “It begins inside”.
