A single side of A4 miniature guide, one in a series of SEN digests, designed to describe what the umbrella term specific learning difficulties means, to list classroom strategies and to suggest further reading for the benefit of subject teachers at the compiler’s secondary school. Includes the caveat Find out as much as possible about the student, using National Curriculum test results, standardised assessment scores and diagnostic data, to determine strengths and weaknesses.
