These activities develop reasoning skills.
This is an actvity designed for those teachers and pupils who may never have done such an activity.
There are sometimes multiple reasons for differing answers for sets of pictures or key words. This can be a difficult concept for some pupils with ASD, but you will find the discussion from it with some pupils is very interesting.
This one is fairly simple in that there are only (I think!) up to 2 answers for each set.
An IWB game where chn view 3 objects, 2 that rhyme and a red herring. Chn must put the 'odd one out&' in the bin.
Remember, when exiting the game not to save changes to the file or you will have to reposition everything next time you play!
Flip- chart moves through stages of multiplication as repeated addition and then an array. Can be made more practical (fun) by having a collection of small pairs of socks and lots of real life examples of an array. Also children love the chocolate challenge!<br />
