Using Play Leaders to keep children active during break times is fantastic as there are so many benefits, including, but not limited to:

  • Increasing physical activity levels of children during break times.
  • Providing more opportunities for children to be active.
  • Increasing interaction between children in different year groups.
  • Teaching children skills and introducing them to new sports and games.

However, we do need to remember that Play Leaders are still children and will need some support with what games & activities to teach. These 20 games, activities and challenges are simple to follow and require the use of minimal equipment, making them ideal for your Leaders.
