A template to be made into a 5 page booklet for children to use to record the planting of a sunflower seed and watching it grow -measuring and observing changes. Pages can be differentiated; removing steps for children to write in themselves and key words. Additional pages include: what plants need to grow and live & labelling a picture of a sunflower with key words. All for the children to complete.
Students will use note taking skills to paraphrase notes on third-person-point-of-view. Notes will provide and promote better writing when writing various text, constructed responses, and extended responses. Notes are excellent for understand which point of view a piece of text is written from, and changing a point of view when writing.
