This is a common classroom activity that is often used to help new students get to know each other a little better or to practice a specific structure - often ‘Present Perfect’ for experience contrasted with ‘Past Simple’ for details of past events.
It is based around a set of questions that usually ask about student experience, e.g. “Have you ever flown a kite?”
Students mingle around the classroom asking the questions and finding out about each other’s experiences.
At the end of the activity they share what they have learned.
In this version of the activity students discover each new question by scanning a QR code with their phone or mobile device. They then take a picture or record a short interview of the person who answers the question.
