With the New Curriculum in force and Levels gone I have taken it upon myself to create a new assessment grid for Science. It works the same way as an APP grid. It also includes the Working Scientifically criteria. Like the New Curriculum, each assessment grid has been grouped into age ranges, KS1, Lower KS2 and Upper KS2. Rather than Levels, which I know OFSTED are dead against, I have gone with 'Stages' which admittedly is essentially the same thing as Levels, but by a different name, Having tested these myself I know that these grids are handy assessment tools, with simple highlighting needed, with dates, to show how well each child has done.

Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Test papers and answers for Level 3-5 and Level 6
There are 2 sets of test papers with answers for Level 3-5 and 3 sets test papers with answers for Level 6. These may be used as an assessment tool over the year.
I have also created Poweproint presentations for each test so that the teachers have the choice and can use these for practice within lessons, for short grammar sessions and for revision.
Both Level 3-5 and Level 6 are in the style of the GPS Tests 2014.
I have used these resources for both practice and testing with an outstanding outcome.

This year we mark 800 years since the writing of the Magna Carta. For the first time a king agreed that the law was more powerful than him . When schools are thinking about 'British Values', enabling children to understand how England was the first nation to enshrine personal liberty and the power of the law will allow a long view of these now widely held values.
During the game, the children will learn about 13th century agriculture, its inherent difficulties and the ways in which King John’s actions made it even more challenging. They will become involved in the running of their manor and will experience these difficulties firsthand.
If you discover after purchase that you prefer to use the more complex version, please get in touch for a free copy.
