Pattern Task Cards (Bright Colors)

Use bright colored counters to finish these color patterns task cards. These bright color pattern cards are intended to be used with small rainbow counters, such as frogs, bears, or circles, which are available in rainbow colors. Counters are not included in the digital download. Students determine which color comes next in each pattern. Patterns included are AB, ABB, ABA, and AAB. Using rainbow counters helps make the activity an interactive, hands-on one. Two answer recording pages have been provided. The first requires the student write the name of the correct color on the line for each task card. A second (alternative) recording page allows them to color a circle the correct color. An answer key has been provided for the teacher’s convenience in checking the recording sheets for accuracy.
