A Linha Curva Motif Writing - Liris and Robson

A Linha Curva Motif Writing - Liris and Robson

These resources include the written motifs, with tasks to identify actions, space, dynamics and relationships within them. There is also a task where students can write their own. This is good revision for A Linha Curva but also promotes literacy and detail in writing motifs. Attached is also an ASDR booklet which can be used to improve terminology.

The download features:-A full PowerPoint to guide the session (with a starter, objectives, main task, a game, & AfL)-A colourful and fun double-sided worksheet (with 2 x key-word crosswords)-A teacher’s answersheetIt serves as a fun and relaxed way for students to revise key-words and allows you to gauge their knowledge of key-words based on how fast they can complete the task.Ideally, you should have a time where students work alone at first (so that you can gauge their level of knowledge) and then co-operatively (in pairs) so that they can learn. All activities in this session are focussed on key-words so if you feel your students need to revise key-words this is the perfect resource for them!

mathematics - song booklet

mathematics - song booklet

I put this booklet together and added pictures that can be printed off, laminated and used with the songs. We really enjoyed it, hope it is of use :) ( there are a couple of pictures missing as I already had them) some songs haven’t got tunes, we just chanted them, adding rhythm when possible. Most of the others are well known tunes. I am afraid I haven’t got the music script for them. I am sure there is a site on the internet that will help with the tunes x

Songs to support early mathematical concepts

Songs to support early mathematical concepts

A selection of themed songs to support the development of mathematical concepts and vocabulary. These have been collated from a variety of sources and should be used selectively! These were developed for use with children with severe learning difficulties as i have found that the use of a catchy tune really can help some of these words and ideas to be remembered.

Pinocchio

Pinocchio

I couldn't find a resource to use when reading the story of Pinocchio to my class. This powerpoint is by no means perfect - it's a REALLY long story!! I&'ve tried to cut out some of the unnecessary bits and it probably needs more words editing as it&';s still complicated. There's a mixture of pictures from the disney film and pictures found online. A nice way to introduce the story to the whole class.

Games to play in class (suitable for all subjects)

Games to play in class (suitable for all subjects)

This is a collection of games that I began when I was a teacher of ESL way back when. One of the first things I found was that the biggest asset I could possibly have, whether my students were four yearsold or forty, was a good stock of games to usein class. Over the years I have added to this collection as I movedthrough different ESL positions and eventually into primary teaching. I hope they’re useful to you!
