I will in the future Walk and Talk Mocks to help my students understand how to answer the NEW OCR B syllabus questions in preparation for their terminal exams.Well worth a buy as it has taken 2 hours to do. The lessons are used for the final teaching of WJEC B in 2016-2017 year. It can be changed for other syllabus. It focuses on Hard and Soft cliff erosion and an introduction to coasts.Lesson 1: Hard Cliff Erosion (Slide 1 has a hyperlink)The settler focuses on the chronology of landforms in Old Harrys Rock. The starter is based on the end of unit test prior to this unit or the baseline at the start of the Year. Please see the exam analysis sheet attached.The main uses the DVD Britain's Changing Coastline DVD with a key terms sheet.The main also introduces fetch and types of erosion through the kinaesthetic activity of coastal kung fu. This leads into the development task.The development is the different types of erosion with the worksheet attached.The plenary is anagrams with an extension.Lesson 2: Hard Cliff Erosion (2)Settler- Design a question using the key words in the starter.Starter: Word Shoot game.Homework: Green Bridges of Wales.Main: Eroding hard cliff using the links and WJEC B textbook. In addition, the slides focus on headland erosion.Development: Case study generation on Old Harrys Rock. Students can peer or self assess using the marking guidelines.Plenary: Million Sweet Drop Live- an interactive game based on the TV show which sweets are used on an A-D board. Students bet the sweets on the correct answer in the slides. Take away the sweets that are incorrect.Lesson 3: Soft Cliff erosionSetter- List O'Mania of 10 key words.Starter- Penalty shoot out interactive game in teams of 2.Main- Soft cliff erosion using the hyperlinks and WJEC B textbook. This leads to a comparision activity of hard and soft erosion.Development- Photo analysisPlenary- Freeze Frame
