German Activity Cards

German Activity Cards

Developed by experienced language teachers, these unique reading practice cards are designed for individual, “self-service” use. They can be placed in a Resources Centre, used in class (e.g. for carousel activities) or borrowed for homework. The cards are intended to be printed and laminated to be used again and again. Students help themselves to cards, answer the questions in their exercise book, then mark their work (or their peers’) and write their scores on the record sheet. There is no preparation, marking or duplication for teachers, allowing time to be spent where most needed.

German GCSE Survival Kit - Pupil Resource

German GCSE Survival Kit - Pupil Resource

This is a guide for any pupil taking GCSE German. I wanted a small 'survival kit' guide that could slot into a pupil's folder or book that they can reference whenever they are attempting a writing task. This is specifically designed for the new GCSE and I wanted to set the bar at a grade 5. Basically, if a pupil follows the guide accurately, they could achieve a 5/6 in the new GCSE. I have printed it as A5. On one side there are easily useable phrases in the present, pas and future, time phrases, connectives, opinions and comparisons. On the reverse is an example Foundation 16 mark question with an exemplar answer. With this is a "foundation checklist" which pupils can also do whenever they are completing a writing. Show your pupils how you can use both sides to ensure a 5 at GCSE. Enjoy!

French: Stage 3: The Imperfect Tense

French: Stage 3: The Imperfect Tense

Welcome to Stage 3: The Imperfect Tense Well done on mastering Stage 2: The Perfect tense! As I have outlined in all the stages for mastering the tenses in French, I have designed each stage which deals with the necessary tenses and stage 3 is the imperfect tense. I cover a wide range of verbs that I deem necessary in one's learning of the language. I have made a huge bundle which consists of over 50 verbs in the perfect tense, which is required from Key stage 3 onwards or whether adults are learning it for the very first time. This bundle will be useful for either teaching the tenses for the first time or revision. Normally I sell each part for £3 each, but for £15 (which would normally be £24 for all 8 parts!), you will have the following: Part 1: Primary irregular -ir verbs: Aller, Avoir, Boire, Croire, Etre, Faire, Ouvrir, Prendre Part 2: Regular -er verbs: Arriver, Entrer, Essayer, Manger, Parler, Partager, Porter, Regarder Part 3: Regular -ir verbs: Bleuir, Choisir, Finir, Grandir, Ralentir, Refroidir, Rougir Part 4: Regular -re verbs: Attendre, Perdre, Rendre, Vendre Part 5: Irregular -re verbs: Dire, Ecrire, Lire, Mettre Part 6: Irregular -ir verbs: Pouvoir, Savoir, , Voir, Vouloir Part 7: More irregular -ir verbs and intransitive verbs: Partir, Sortir, Tenir, Venir Part 8: Impersonal verbs and reflexive verbs: Falloir, Pleuvoir, S'agir, Se laver, Se servir de, Se souvenir Once again, for all 8 parts this is incredibly great value which is a big reduction from £24 down to £15! Do take advantage of this offer and I wish you very happy teaching and learning!
