Australian Banknotes: What's On My Money?

Australian Banknotes: What's On My Money?

After attending an Aboriginal Museum and briefly told about David Unaipon's (who appears on the $50.00 note) history, I thought it would be a fun activity to find out who else is on the Australian Bank Notes.I had real bank notes that I brought to class. I had a couple of each note (100, 50, 20, 10, 5). It was great to see the students identifying the security features of each note, and trying to find the microprinting with magnifying glasses would work a treat! This lesson would work if you were currently learning about money in class too...Enjoy :)
