Ordinal Numbers Activities 0-10 Printable Kindergarten Math Centres

Ordinal Numbers Activities 0-10 Printable Kindergarten Math Centres

This is a printable Math Centre Activity involving counting, thinking and ordering numbers 1-10. These are Math centre activities, suitable for Kindergarten and Year 1, there are 124 different cards, dealing with numbers 0-10. You can print and use whole sheets as worksheets, but I usually cut and laminate cards with an image at the top, and a choice of three answers below. , * There are a couple of reference strips, black ink and color * There are 124 activity cards requiring students to colour, or mark their answers * There are 4 sets of cards (black ink and color) so students can sort, order and play games. The answers could be marked with a peg, button, counter etc but students can simply draw a circle around their answer. I have also used as a whole sheet assessment activity, and ask children to circle or mark the correct answer. Many children can count to ten, but they need to be taught about order and its vocabulary. Adds and extends my other early number products.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Reading and Math Skills Assessment Tracker

Pre-K and Kindergarten Reading and Math Skills Assessment Tracker

Essay and multiple choice tests are not an option in Pre-K. You're doing great just getting them to write their first and last name on a paper. As a teacher and lover of cold hard proof I have created a spreadsheet to help you assess your prekindergarten students on the reading and math skills you are trying to instill. Pre-K assessments are done one-on-one. For alphabet recognition, you show them a random letter card one at a time asking for the letters name and sound. This spreadsheet allows you to record the number of LETTER NAMES each student recognizes and in return you get their percentages color-coded for quick referencing. There is a separate column for LETTER SOUNDS and RHYMING WORDS as well. The rhyming word columns are meant to be customized to the exact number of words you are testing for. There is a shaded box where you enter the number of words you tested for. Then you enter the number correct for each student to receive their color-coded percentages. I have also included a page specifically for SPANISH teachers. On the Spanish page you can record results for 29 Letter Names tested and 30 Letter Sounds tested. If your school tests for a different number, please let me know and I can make you a Special template. The MATH pages can be customized just as the Rhyming is. By default it records results for 25 Numbers for PK4, 10 Numbers for PK3, 8 Shapes and 10 Colors. The spreadsheet has space to record for 8 testing periods, about once a month for one school year. This does require that you do have Microsoft Excel already.
