NPQSL Final Assessment Log (2016) with appendices

NPQSL Final Assessment Log (2016) with appendices

After completing my NPQML, I decided to embark on the SL course and what a journey it has been. I have poured my blood, sweat and tears into this document and received some outstanding feedback in regards to both the project and the completed log. A superb course for anyone interested in senior leadership within the education sector. Included in this package comes all 22 pages of the log with all appendices attached. Within the appendices are my 'Project Action Plan', 360 Diagnostic report and SLT and Governors report. All references are also highlighted in the log. Pseudonyms are used for school and individual identities. All I can say is that I wished I had the opportunity to see an example such as this when I was writing as the IOE provide very little in terms of examples. If you do download, please leave feedback :)

Flipped Learning: Staff Presentation/Training

Flipped Learning: Staff Presentation/Training

I was asked to put together a presentation for staff to explain what Flipped Learning is, the importance of it and give some examples of how to use it. The PowerPoint does just that! This was followed up with further training sessions relating to Stretch and Challenge, which I am a Lead Practitioner for and use Flipped Learning as a strategy to develop this. Please feel free to contact me if you would like further explanation of any activities or further examples. The final data collection sheet I give as an example - is one that has been used in a training session I have attended. It has no copyright and I do not know who to credit it to.

WABOLL - edit & improve model answers

WABOLL - edit & improve model answers

In the READ section of the worksheet, provide a model answer which is an example of What A Bad One Looks Like. Pupils should identify spag errors and poorly written sentences. In the EDIT section pupils should list general (spag) and subject specific things that would improve the answer. In the IMPROVE section pupils re-write the WABOLL to tranform it into a 'good one'. Particularly useful to build confidence and challenge pupils to reach higher marks on extended longer answers questions.

Projects and Teamwork Bundle

Projects and Teamwork Bundle

When planning a project at work or school, it's important to get team members prepared for their roles, tasks and responsibilities within the team. The resources contained in the bundle are all you need to help you accomplish this. The three that I would start with are: Identifying your Values - choose values as a group Workplace issues: Brainstorm, problem Solve and Create Smart goals Team collaboration - important for all to understand how teams work. These resources are tried and tested in the workplace by my learners with amazing results for project outcomes.
