No et moi * Aidons-nous du film * Booklet + MS * New A-level * NEW!!

No et moi * Aidons-nous du film * Booklet + MS * New A-level * NEW!! A complete study guide of the first 26 chapters of the book No et moi using the film as a support. Ideal to help your student have a clear chronology of the book in their head with the help of visuals from the film. These resources include: - Two starter activities with appealing worksheets to approach the movie - A study booklet for students with pictures from the movie to guide them through the chronology of the book. (students need to make precise references to the book with quotes) - A worksheet with titles linked to the student booklet - An answer booklet which can be used as a complete study booklet of the first 26 chapters of the book. All the quotes and references you need to teach are written for you. References to specific pages are also given. (You will need to have 'Le Livre de Poche' version of the book) Teaching tips: I gave this booklet to my students at the end of Year 1 of the French A-level after having studied the first 26 chapters with them. I noticed that some of them were struggling with the chronology and the precise order of scenes in the book or where to find quotes. This booklet has helped them greatly to have a clear vision of the book and they now have all the references that they need to write their essay. You will need about 4 hours to complete this booklet with your students but they can be given some questions to answer at home and the first half of the movie to watch at home too to save time in class. I will create a second booklet soon to cover the second half of the movie and the book! Keep checking my shop for new updates! :-) Plenty more resources on No et moi in my shop! 10 Phrases Sur Moi! Je me présente!

10 Phrases Sur Moi! Je me présente!

This fun French activity helps primary school pupils introduce themselves. It is ideal as a back-to-school or end-of-year activity but it can be used at any time of the year. Pupils write 10 sentences about themselves - one sentence per finger onto the outline of a pair of hands. They then decorate. The completed art activity can then be used as a springboard to oral presentations. This is a lovely confidence-building activity. Finding ten things to say about themselves may seem like a daunting task but by using the included fill-in-the-blanks sentences, pupils are often surprised with how much French they know. This resource includes: - 25 fill-in-the-blanks French sentences & the English translation - the same 25 sentences with options to fill in the sentences & the English translation - 3 different pairs of hands outlines with fill-in-the-blanks sentences - a blank pair of hands outline - 3 sample completed pairs of hands outlines - Teacher Page - How to use this product

PRESENTATION: A Powerpoint presentation with more than 60 slides, taking learners through French numbers from 0 to 100. Featuring key teaching points, it breaks them down into small chunks of ten numbers at a time so that teachers can use whatever part of the presentation suits the needs of their class. There are recap slides at various points with tables of numbers and also slides with numbers in French and English for pupils to translate, with answers appearing on the click of the mouse. There are slides with large numbers in digit format to play a game of 'splat' where the teacher can call out a French number and children can compete in threes or so to hit the number on the whiteboard (if you're not using a touchscreen) but this can also be used for other teacher questioning. The last few slides introduce some mental maths in French, introducing words for 'add', 'subtract', 'multiplied by', and 'divide by'. There are some calculations using just numbers from 0-40 and then some using numbers to 100. For children to become really familiar with French numbers it's great to get them playing around with them in maths activities. I use the following words for the four operations: plus - add moins - minus fois - times divisé par - divided by If you would like the resources in this bundle alongside French mental maths games and activities, you would be better off getting the following bigger bundle: French Numbers and Maths Bundle You can explore my other French basics resources by clicking on these bundles: Huge French Basics Bundle French Basics Presentations Bundle French Basics Games / Activities Bundle French Basics Worksheets and Puzzles Bundle For lots more engaging, great value Maths, Literacy and French resources, please visit FullShelf Resources

Research project (Motivational triggers) for KS3 French - Bon voyage (Holidays) (AQA new spec)

Research project (Motivational triggers) for KS3 French - Bon voyage (Holidays) (AQA new spec)

This is a research project lesson (or two lessons really) that I created for my year 7 French students. The writing example can be easily adapted if more structures are to be added. The idea is to promote independent learning via research. Students have to research information about the place that they would like to visit (any place in world really but I encouraged to visit France). Students decide on the task and start researching relevant information about the chosen location using their iPads/ Chromebooks. At the same time they create a poster or a travel brochure with pop-up images (!!!) about the chosen location. During the second lesson they distribute the writing task bullet points in-between the members of the group and complete a piece of writing as per success criteria and model answer. In the end they stick their written notes (or attach them) to their poster /travel brochure. The whole process takes about 2 lessons and is perfect for the end of the topic as you can incorporate all of the structures / vocabulary learned during the term! Note: the writing example is oriented on the revision of tenses studied this year, holidays, weather and location vocabulary. Please let me know if you have any other ideas on how this project can be implemented. If you still have some time left you can enjoy few games I have inserted to simply have fun during the (possibly) last lesson of the year.
