Quilt block patterns

Quilt block patterns

A set of 3 single sided activity sheets with solutions. Students need to carefully use a pencil and ruler to construct straight lines on the grid provided. Colour is then used to show the different two-dimensional shapes that have been formed. Students are asked to identify the shapes. Australian Curriculum (NSW) MA3-15MG manipulates, classifies and draws two-dimensional shapes, including equilateral, isosceles and scalene triangles, and describes their properties.
