Fractions Game

Fractions Game

Each player has a game card each. Players take it in turns to throw the dice. When the fraction on the dice matches up with one on their game card, they cover that fraction with a counter. The winner is the first person to cover up all of their fractions.

Counting on in... steps

Counting on in... steps

Numberline created to support in counting forwards and backwards in ones also counting beyond 100. Has proved equally useful for decimals to 3 dp and negative numbers. You need to enable macros and for early versions of excel the add-in 'analysis toolpak 1' needs to be loaded from the tools menu.

x 10 and 100 including basic decimals

x 10 and 100 including basic decimals

This is a resource used with lower ability students as a plenary activity. It is meant as a pra.ctice but also a bit of fun. I add or they add our own sound effects and they have to cheer when it is correct - can be adapted for harder activities or use the basic principles to set up other activities

Place value and changes by 10 and 100

Place value and changes by 10 and 100

A better version of the x by 10 and 100 and divide by 10 and 100. Needs to be sued for KS2 and lower ability students. My bottom set really enjoy this activity and it gets quite noisy if you want cheering!!
