There are 2 4x4 bingo cards. Students work with a partner. Card 1 has question set A & answer set B. Card 2 has question set B & answer set A. 4 of the 16 answers per card have not been provided; for these, students answer "Je ne sais pas" and the box is marked with an "X". To win, students must get 4 "O" in a row (each card has only 1 possible way to win). Focus is on family vocabulary and giving dates.

This Christmas resource is suitable for both French specialists and non-specialists as all the words and phrases have sound icons, which can be played for the introduction/ repetition of all the words and phrases. Answers for all activities appear on the PowerPoint. This resource initially introduces 18 Christmas words with many practice activities. There is a match-up listening activity for these words too. The PowerPoint goes on to introduce 12 Christmas phrases, with another listening activity and a reading activity. There is then a ‘create a Christmas card’ slide and a word search. 12 further words for popular Christmas presents are introduced, followed by a reading activity. There is also a slide to encourage pupils to create a Christmas picture, labelling with French words. There is a lengthy worksheet, which accompanies the activities on the PowerPoint and a separate word search document. The PowerPoint has 71 slides.

This is a stand alone resource on the Perfect Tense in French which aims to help students understand how to form and use the tense through a logical, step by step approach. page 1 - common ER, RE, IR regular verbs and common irregular verbs in the infinitive and past participle form. page 2 - what does the Perfect Tense mean in English? Form the tense by doing a coordinates exercise. page 3 - use infinitives, past participles and the Present Tense of ‘avoir’ from memory. page 4 - form the negative of Perfect Tense verbs in French and learn which part of ‘avoir’ to use when subject pronouns are replaced by proper nouns. page 5 - revise common time expressions used with the Perfect Tense and do a reading exercise. page 6 - a display sheet which students can stick in their books to show them at a glance how to form the Perfect Tense in French.
