One slide is dedicated to each week number in the year. Students are asked to shout out whether they think this number is prime, square, cube, triangular, perfect or a Fibonacci number. Additionally they are asked to write the number in terms of Roman numerals and to find the factors of the number. Multiples Investigation Lesson Pack - Y2

Lesson Pack complete with lesson plan and resources. Hands on and fun activity which encourages group work and reasoning skills. Children receive 'letter' from Cinderella and they are asked to help her to decorate biscuits according to a pattern (every 3rd, 4th and 5th biscuit has a topping). Children are then to work out which biscuits would have which toppings if the pattern continued. They then calculate how many of each topping they require for 20 biscuits and then 100 biscuits to be decorated.
