This PowerPoint contains 101 philosophical debates for the music classroom. It covers a broad array of topics: all aim to trigger philosophical debates and discussions that relate to music. It also includes a 'randomiser' slide so that you can generate random debate topics instantly. It is aimed at students aged 12-18: as with many philosophical issues, these are engaging for young people and adults! There are many uses: -End of lesson discussions in the music classroom -Instant cover lessons for music teachers -Form-time/tutor-groups -Debating societies -Boosting SMSC in music classrooms -Boosting cross-curricular links in music classrooms -Fostering cross-curricular links to music in other subjects! Kung Fu Panda 'Secrets of he Furious Five' Self-Awareness Worksheets

What are the fundamental qualities that students of Chinese martial arts are expected to cultivate? Patience, Discipline, Courage, Confidence & Compassion! They are all equally special and can be cultivated simultaneously, every day. Take a hint from Kung Fu Panda (which is of course based on thousands of years of experience and wisdom accumulated by Chinese martial artists and health experts) and develop these admirable and constructive qualities in your daily life! Contents - 2 versions of a ‘self-awareness’ sheet, which may be printed multiple times and filled in, to note how you have shown or will show all five of the qualities in your daily life - 5 ‘self-awareness’ sheets focusing on one quality only - ‘summarise and explain’ sheets for each of the Furious Five characters, to fill in with your own summary of events in the animated film shorts ‘Secrets of the Furious Five’ - labels for each quality which may be cut out and glued to a separate page or notebook, if you would rather make your notes elsewhere (or to use as you see fit) - a full-page poster for each quality, to serve as a friendly reminder

@AllRoundRes 'Our Classroom Rules' Poster!

Firstly, if you choose to download my resource(s), please take the time to leave a rating (as I know most of don't really bother) - I do really value your feedback. ***** FOLLOW @AllRoundRes, to stay up-to-date with the latest resources and news! ***** #GetYourLearnOn #AskAllRes I created this resource to be used a display in classrooms to show students of classroom rules and expectations. It’s a simple A4 sheet which shows what students should aim to do and follow whilst they are in the classroom. Making sure they are prepared for learning. The poster could be printed in large and displayed in a prominent place in the classroom. Or you could print them in small and glue them into students’ books or diaries, to make sure they always know what the rules are and what they should strive for in your classroom. Focusing, on the fact that students should be prepared for learning, they should – dream big, try new things and not be afraid to make mistakes, believe in themselves and work hard. All rules are skills and concepts that students should strive for to achieve, believe and aspire in the classroom and in their learning! ************************************************************************************************************************ If you have any queries, questions or concerns, then please email allroundresources@gmail.com or alternatively write a comment describing your needs, where I will be happy to help! ***** Be sure to follow me, to keep update with my most recent uploaded resources! *****

@AllRoundRes How are we learning O'Meter?

Firstly, if you choose to download my resource(s), please take the time to leave a rating (as I know most of don't really bother) - I do really value your feedback. ***** FOLLOW @AllRoundRes, to stay up-to-date with the latest resources and news! ***** #GetYourLearnOn #AskAllRes I created this resource to be used a display in classrooms to show students how they are learning, in the classroom environment. A simple and effective display poster which you can use to show students what format they will be learning in the lesson; independently, in partners, in teams or as a class. Great for visual learners, as resource is clear and focused with few words, colour and diagrams. The poster explains to students, what they should do in that format, i.e. if independently they should be in silence, working alone and staying on task. Simply move the arrow to indicate how they will be learning in that part of the lesson. Great to differentiate tasks and work in the classroom, handing over to the student more for a flipped-learning approach to classroom based learning! You, could print this out, in large and display in a prominent and focusing place in the classroom, i.e. above your smartboard or whiteboard etc. Or you could include these in your lesson PPT. Show @AllRoundRes how you use this on your classroom. ************************************************************************************************************************ If you have any queries, questions or concerns, then please email allroundresources@gmail.com or alternatively write a comment describing your needs, where I will be happy to help! ***** Be sure to follow me, to keep update with my most recent uploaded resources! *****
