Odd and even table review worksheet KS1

Odd and even table review worksheet KS1

This worksheet is geared for Year 1 level, where the children have just begun learning about odd and even numbers. The children would first have to learn about odd and even numbers, and then either with flashcards where they pick out random numbers, or from their memory they count up from 0; and put the numbers in the correct column. Attached is 3 different tables for the higher, medium and lower achievers, differentiated by expecting the higher achievers to do up to a higher number. Good luck!

Column Addition and Subtraction Learning Mats

Column Addition and Subtraction Learning Mats

I recently took part in a CPD session where a PE teacher showed us how she used learning mats in many of her lessons. I took the idea and tried to apply it to maths. These two resources are learning mats that guide the children through a starter then column addition and subtraction activities. The colour codes refer to AWOL (red - developing/emerging, yellow - expected, green - exceeding/mastery). Children can work at their own pace and the teacher is there to facilitate learning, guide the pupil and observe who may need additional support. I made them for Year 5 class but they could be used for Year 6 and are easily adaptable.
