Grey ones are to make it easier to remove some for use with low ability groups. Modified for slightly simpler language from Edexcel published resources. Lots of possible revision activities: Keyword matching: Match word to meaning (laminated/cut and stick) Foldable: Fold cut between the definitions and fold over to learn the meanings Grouping: by no. marks awarded/difficulty Examples: Come up with question from topic X using keyword Y Design mark scheme for Q X based on keyword Y Practise: (Low ability) objects such as sloths/choc bars – put the word and description next to it e.g. compare, evaluate etc Low ability could remove grey ones before begin activities Discuss/ MWB/choose which words from WB: What language would you use for keyword X? If this is the answer… what was the command word...? (fairly open questioning)
