#### An Introduction to Tally Marks - A rhyme and resource to support the teaching of tally marks.

This resource includes a rhyme and slides to teach and consolidate tally marks. There are also slides where there are groups of five to show how it can speed up counting. Children can be given the opportunity to make the tally for the given number. This was designed as part of our outdoor learning so The Stickman is used as a tally!

Powerpoint and poster showing the number bonds to ten in a story of children with numbers on their shirt are going to a party where they and there friend has to add up to 10 to go.

Great for reinforcing maths. Across-Downs is a fun activity that reinforces addition and subtraction skills. The object of the exercise set is to find the answer for each row and column, then use those answers to calculate the final answer in the lower right-hand corner of the puzzle.
