Greek Mythology Creative Project: god and goddess Bumper Stickers

Greek Mythology Creative Project: god and goddess Bumper Stickers

Students create "bumper stickers" using various literary devices to make their chosen god or goddess memorable. When I do this project, I simply cut cardstock in half and give it to students to decorate and write on. Example include: "Got Wheat?" (for Demeter), "Mighty Aphrodite!", "Are you Ridin' the waves with Poseidon?" This document includes project details, an easily modified grading rubric, and a practice section focusing on the use of literary devices in real world bumper stickers.
