Practical investigation resources to help your students plan their experiments.

Conducting experiments is a significant part of engaging in science. With these hand picked resources, encourage your students to explore the methodical process of planning and carrying out practical experiments, supporting them in their understanding of hypotheses, methodologies, observation, results, conclusions and improvements.

KS3

KS3 Science - Practical investigations - Part 1

These are a selection of practical investigations for KS3 Science, suitable for use with the Working Scientifically section of the 2014 syllabus. Included are guidance for each investigation, a scaffolded investigation sheet, a mark scheme and a student challenge sheet. The investigations are designed to be easily marked and leveled using criteria adapted from APP guidelines. I intended to add to these over time.

These student friendly handbooks are for the NEW AQA (9-1) Chemistry GCSE . These follow a similar layout and pattern I have used for the free revision and paid revision mats from my shop.

All required practicals from each science has 2 booklets for each exam for AQA.
