This is a letter set on bunting consisting of: A-Z in capital letters a-z in lower case letters 0-9 ! ? … , . “” x + = ÷ There is one letter/ number/ symbol per page. All you have to do is print out the pages you need to write out any heading you like. Get the pages laminated and cut out to create a lovely and creative display heading. You can also use your printer settings to put multiples pages per page to get smaller letters (that depends on your printer though). I hope your class enjoy your beautiful and creative headings to displays.

In this activity students become more familiar with some of the technical terms (and meanings) associated with solid waste. Students are asked to research terms and create definitions for these terms that will then be used in a class game. Finally, students are asked to think of a question they would like answered about waste, and to either undertake research to answer this question or swap their question with another student, and research and report back to their classmate the answers they found to the question.

data collection presentation post assessment statistics geography maths independent

A worksheet to use with pupils post assessment. Students firstly create a percentage from their test score. They then collect data from their peers and fill in the table. Once completed, they order the data and calculate the mean & median. They then plot the data as a stack graph or double bar graph (boys & girls). To finish, they complete the target setting sheet. Data can be analysed once all elements have been done. Can be used with all year groups, but works well for KS3.

Here is a set of challenges for teaching orienteering and compass points. Lay the letters down on the floor in the locations as specified in the map document. I used whiteboards with the letters on to do this. Then, add a challenge at each letter. Some suggested challenges are included. Each group will receive a set of instructions to navigate their way around. It’s simple and fun! A classroom activity is included as well. Students are placed in a scenario of being marooned on a desert island and have to use the resources they find and have available to them, to survive and plan an escape from the island. Lesson incorporates thinking skills and group work. Lesson is supported by a video and resource cards to help introduce the lesson to the students, as well as a success criteria to help the class judge the final group presentations
