Jobs Taboo

Jobs Taboo

12 cards naming different job titles. Great for lessons on jobs or employability. Learners have to describe the job at the top without using the words on the card. Fully editable to make it harder or easier for your learners, these clear cards can be printed on card or paper and laminated if you so choose. Brilliant starter for any work related lesson or a great way to extend ESOL/ESL/EFL/EAL learners vocabulary and encourage students to speak more. Great fun! AFRICA WEEK: Elephants for Africa lessons

AFRICA WEEK: Elephants for Africa lessons

My school was fortunate enough to get Dr Kate Evans in to talk to our top set year 8 students as part of our Africa Week. These lessons were created to support her presentation and would be suitable (with some modification) for an end of term activity or, as in our case, as part of a whole year group activity in support of a special event week. I include the link to Elephants for Africa below should you wish to get in touch with this most worthwhile of charities. http://www.elephantsforafrica.org/
