This is a 5 lesson French unit for KS2. It teaches children vocabulary linked to the body. The topics covered include parts of the body, parts of the head, injuries, illnesses and healthy living. The plans all give details of a starter, how to teach the new vocabulary, followed by a combination of listening activities, speaking activities, reading/writing activities and plenary. Each lesson is highly interactive and allows children to practise a range of language skills. All resources needed for the lessons are included in the price. This includes a PowerPoint for each containing the new vocabulary. (This unit could be combined other Blossoming Minds’ French units. This is unit 10 in the sequence.)

Followed by an activity of how to say that you play a particular, sport, game or musical instrument. Introduces the expressions: Jouer à and Jouer de. There is also a writing activity using the third person singular saying what each child plays and what they don’t play. A follow on activity introduces time expressions which includes answers. The last activity is a reading and answering questions in English. Answers are included. There are 7 files in total. This is a vocabulary revision game a bit like Dobble/Spot it. See this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hkq-_eVR8zA) for a few demos of games you can play with this. This resource has 21 pictures for different sports. There are 21 cards, each card carrying 5 pictures. There's more than one set in case the teacher wants more than one for their classroom. I included a word list in French but this game can be used in any language, really.
