AQA English Literature Paper 2 Bundle: Modern Texts and Poetry (version 2)

Three complete units of work that go through the teaching of An Inspector Calls, all 15 of the Conflict and Power poems AND a selection of Unseen Poems. I've included a version of the poetry anthology I've created that lends itself to annotating and revising better than the AQA version too - bit of a beast that. Also, you will find attached a spreadsheet that allows you to track the scores for all of these components.

Massive 20+ Lesson Oliver Twist Scheme for Low Level Learners

Here is a full half-terms (20+) lessons for Oliver Twist. The scheme includes a wide range of starter tasks, assessments, reviews and different reading and writing tasks. This scheme is suitable for low level learners. I have used this with my Y7 and Y8 learners who enjoyed the range of activities and tasks. This would also be suitable for Primary School learners and ESL / International learners. All lessons contain levelled learning objectives, key word foci and a review/starter task per lesson. Each lesson should take around 45-60 minutes depending on your learners. You can also use the 2005 version of the film to help accompany the teaching of the scheme as well as the extracts references. This scheme is suitable for low level learners. I have used this with my Y7 and Y8 learners who enjoyed the range of activities and tasks.

The Merchant of Venice - L3 -The World of the Text - New Setting

What better way to have your students consider key themes in the play than have them consider an alternative location to set the play. This Power Point includes sentence starts to aid less able students. Don't forget, there's a bundle of resources available on 'The World of the Text.' These can be easily adapted to suit any text should you wish your students to consider the world of the text in greater depth.
