Pokemon Go reading cards containing different genres and authors to inspire children to read.

Pokemon Go reading cards containing different genres and authors to inspire children to read.

A collection or custom made pokemon cards containing the names of different genres and authors to inspire children to read and collect them all. The cards make a display and can be made into individual pokemon cards that the children can collect when they have read a certain book of a certain genre or by a certain author. I use them to inspire children to read by asking the children to collect as many cards as they can by reading different types of books and writing a short book review on that book. When I have check the book review they receive the corresponding card. This has been very successful and I have had just over 120 book reviews completed in the first half term.
