08) Arthur's brother, Sébastien, starts high school

08) Arthur's brother, Sébastien, starts high school

The Arthur series of comics in French, help our students who are working with Tapis Volant 2 but can be used by anyone. This is number 8 in the series although number 7 is done in 2 different tenses so technically it is number 9 but we stick with 8 as it was completed as number 8 and 7A came later. It demonstrates use of imperfect tense verbs. On the cover page there are comprehension questions. Sadly, I cannot upload the sound file but a teacher can read out the text. We use the this for both listening and reading comprehension. You can white out the words if you want to use it for listening and students then have the comic pictures as support.

This lesson starter handout (1xA4) has been designed for my second year GCSE students (Year 11) starting in Sept 2017. I have used these sheets in year 10 and they have been very helpful for students. As we are going through the book (Studio AQA), I am creating these documents for them to refer to throughout the year (year 10-year 11). Please note that if there is a mention of 'Check green grammar lesson', it is because I give them separate grammar sheets on a green paper. This text box is easy to delete if you don't want it.
