EDEXCEL GCSE PE (9-1) HEALTH AND FITNESS (Paper 2) 3.2 THE COMMERCIALISATION OF SPORT (NEW)

EDEXCEL GCSE PE (9-1) HEALTH AND FITNESS (Paper 2) 3.2 THE COMMERCIALISATION OF SPORT (NEW)

Here we are again with an OFSTED outstanding lesson - All the bits are there - Differentiated learning objectives and outcomes, pupils can identify whether they have made “Good/better” progress from their starting point. Targeted differentiated pathways throughout the lesson (All you have to do is put your pupils into the correct colour bands) Targeted questions (based on ability) Pupils self / peer assess and check their progress. I have also used the sample material to build in “Exam STOP” where knowledge is applied - We then look at the exam technique that will allow all pupils to access the higher marks. The lesson is interactive and cover a lot of content. It is also complements my other resources and when put together “Layers Learning” allowing for consolidation / extension of knowledge and understanding. This resource covers Topic 3.2 on the HEALTH and PERFORMANCE paper, focusing on “The relationship between commercialisation, the media, physical activity and sport” “The advantages and disadvantages and the media for: The sponsor, the sport, the player and the supporter” "The analysis and interpretation of graphical data associated with trends in the commercialisation of physical activity and sport" I have included sample questions and answers throughout the presentation in EXAM STOP slides, this, along with the targeted questioning and bespoke differentiation allows pupils to apply their knowledge and for you to instil good exam technique throughout. There are also lots of fabulous videos which make the lessons come alive. Buy with confidence - these resources take around 20hrs to put together. I am an “Oftsed” outstanding practitioner, former SL for PE (But still have responsibility for GCSE PE and have done now for the last 19 yrs) and am currently Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for teaching and learning. Don’t forget to check my other resources and subscribe as I’m adding new material every week…

GCSE Results Feedback Sticker

GCSE Results Feedback Sticker

I have found this a useful tool to add to my test papers as students are asked to reflect on how much revision they did and then how happy with the result they got. Very simple idea but helps the students to see the links and decide upon their own targets.
