OCR A Level Coastal Landscapes - The Formation of Spits and Associated Landforms.

OCR A Level Coastal Landscapes - The Formation of Spits and Associated Landforms.

This lesson covers the formation spits and bars. The resource links clearly to the Hodder text and ensures that students also focus on integrating actual examples of a spit, tombolo and bar. The emphasis is on applying processes to formation rather than a simple chronological description. The power-point guides students through the process but the sheet is self explanatory and little teacher input is required. This resource can also be used as revision activity for Year 13.
