This PDF contains 65 chapters, each containing explanations, worked examples and exercises. There is a Solutions section after the lesson chapters with worked solutions to each exercise. It is not intended as a standalone book but instead should augment other literature and learning resources you may be using. Remember, you can never do too much maths. We have adopted an informal tone whilst retaining appropriate nomenclature and detail where necessary. Throughout the chapters, where appropriate, we have included exercises aimed at students doing Further Maths. Some of these are complete, new chapters such as Matrices (Chapter. 57). Others are simply additional exercises within existing GCSE topics that we have extended to incorporate the Further Maths syllabus. In either case they are designed to challenge you and allow you to experience the transition from the Higher tier to the next level. REMAINDER THEOREM - LESSON PLAN & NOTES

Remainder theorem is among the polynomial theorems. I have used basic examples to lead the learners in understanding the theory and use the same. The lesson is structured on inquiry based learning model and the students are taking the lead role in the acquisition of knowledge. The lesson is adequately differentiated and the teacher can vary it to suit their particular interests and that of the class. But overall it will help a class identify quotient, remainder, divisor and dividend after the procedure of long division. It will also make the learners understand the theorem and use it.
