This product has ten (10) sentences that allow students to identify adjectives within a sentence. The lesson demonstrates how to find adjectives within a sentence step by step . First, the students are instructed to find the nouns in the sentence first through annotation (underlining). Escaped on the Playground game

Escaped on the Playground game

A printable board game adaptable to many different curriculum areas. Cards are available for a variety of different subjects and a template is available to buy so you can make your own for any topic you wish. I have used this game regularly with Year 3 and 4 children. It is easy to understand and easy to differentiate (you can even have children playing in mixed ability groups but by giving them their own sets of cards, they can be accessing appropriate material for their ability).

Witch Child by Celia Rees - loads of bits for exploring this fantastic novel

Witch Child by Celia Rees - loads of bits for exploring this fantastic novel

A complete range of lessons and worksheets to accompany teaching the fab historical/fictional novel ‘Witch Child’ by Celia Rees. For me, this book seemed to resonate most with my Yr 9 girls groups and they really enjoyed the range of activties including reading, writing and speaking and listening skills. There are some lessons shorter than others or have been deleted due to now irrelevant mark scheme/curriculum work (including APP). I hope you enjoy this selection and please feel free to review and look at my other resources as well. Many thanks
