Human Rights display

A great way to help students understand the Human Rights. I placed posters by students around the display.

Six Forms of Government

Six Forms of Government

Six Different Forms of Government This engaging and interactive flashcard includes bite-sized information about six different forms of government and differentiated questions which can be easily adaptable to meet the needs of your students. Useful as a starter, main activity or plenary activity! Main Activity - Students are put in six groups. Each group is provided with a 'form of government'. The task is for each group to 'sell' their government about promoting its strengths and merits. The class must criticise why that form of government is not effective and justify why their form of government is more suitable/effective. VERY ENGAGING AND INTERACTIVE!

Types of Courts

I use this lesson as part of my Year 9 SoW on law & legal rights. It has been adapted for GCSE too easily in the past.
