Can give out both A4 or only one part. Would suggest starting the whole unit with this one. - Wosheet: An extra exercise as extension or to begin the next lesson where students have to read a short passage and draw what happens. You have the image so you can show the students when they have completed their own drawing.

This resource includes a basic lesson plan for consolidating the vocab from the flash cards on the theme of zoo animals and 'Squares Game' activity - instructions of how to play on resource sheet. (I have included the same animals as in the 'Dear Zoo' story (hence the dog!) so that you can link to the book if you wish.) Word file for flash cards is also included should you wish to edit it/add animals. All the images I use are free to use and distribute with CCO licenses.
